Signed and sent.
Done. I added this to the canned text;
"If this were targeting any other Constitutionally protected right in the Bill of Rights, the opposition would be immense. Please don't allow 'feelings' to override logic, reason, and this nation's founding principles."
I'm certain it will be ignored and this unconstitutional limit on my God-given rights will be signed by the Gov.
For all the good it will do, signed, edited, and submitted.

Done. I didn't even bother editing. They don't read them anyway.

They finally decided to get off their FUDD ass and "do something" in regard to this...
How nice of them...
ETA: Signed and sent, but it isn't going to matter...
Appreciate the effort . . . but there's no way Polis doesn't sign that piece of crap.

I have fired off approx 50 emails over the last month or two and have only recived auto responses from Gardner and Bennett. Im 100% sure they all fell on deaf ears if they didn't get deleted stright out. This is a done deal he already said he will sign what ever gets put on his desk.
The only hope with this crap is to stop it while it's in the state house . . . once it gets to Polis, it's a done deal. He'll rubber stamp every progressive piece of paper that hits his desk.
If it can't be stopped, need to keep up the pressure . . . recall where we can and don't let them off the hook. Keep fighting. Ultimately, the only answer is to vote them out of power. I hate the fact that I think there are plenty of conservative-minded people in this state that "could" out vote the progressives. But they just don't show up in the massive numbers needed. Sucks.

Apparently not. The balance moves further to the left every day. About 80,000 moved to Colorado last year.
Signed. I wanted to add what I thought of him. But I didn't want him to lock himself in his office and cry. I just want him to veto the bill.

You should probably look here for registered voter stats as of 03/2019:
https://www.sos.state.co.us/pubs/elections/VoterRegNumbers/2019/March/VotersByPartyStatus.pdf
And it's probably not gonna get any closer than it is now.

Registered voters =/= people living in the state. That's kind of my point. I think there are probably still enough non-progressive people living in the state to make a difference, but it would require a much higher registration level and turnout. But maybe it's all over and that's wishful thinking.

Of course it doesn't. But it does give you an indication of what you're up against. And it ain't pretty.
Does everyone realize Polis doesnt care if what you think about this law?
Fill out all the forms you want....write all the letters you want.....but he doesnt care.
But at least the list of potentially dangerous people to kick off the confiscations has been started when you send him your name.....
Polis = Progressive from Boulder that assaults women...
Did the progressives from Boulder care when they passed an unconstitutional law what the people against the law said?
I guess we can feel "lucky" this is the only anti-gun bill the DEMs have gotten to this year....
But there is still about 30 days left in the legislative session...

The inside word is that there are no more anti-gun bills, but I'm a firm believer in the quote "No man's life, liberty, or property are safe while the legislature is in session.". My only guess is that they'll test-run some sort of AWB expecting it to fail much like ERPO last year.

They've got them stacked. They didn't even write this 33 page PoS themselves.
It's only a matter of what they think they can get away with. What we're seeing (on other issues too) is they are taking as much as they can while they have control of the state. A lot of this is targeting political enemies and I think they are perfectly happy with red voters leaving the state over gun rights, O&G regs, or the tax/regulatory environment.
