Got these last year and am continually surprised how much I use them:
Ratcheting offset screwdriver (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000XYOUS6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
Drill chuck adapter for impact driver (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0051AE85W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
The chuck adapter is pretty nifty - I hardly ever use my drill anymore, considering how useful and powerful the impact driver is, overall.

The offset screw drivers are a must for any tool box. I have never seen the driver adapter, I just ordered one thank you for the heads up.

Personal preference, but your drill bits hate you and your impact chuck adapter... The cutting edge of your drill bits do not want rotational impact from a cordless impact.
I do like the offset screw drivers though. I have several of them.

Offset / angled needle nose pliers. Don't forget a seldom used, but always looking for when you can't find it. The metric screw drivers and adjustable wrenches.

Honestly, the impact feature doesn’t really engage. When it has... I feel weird saying this, but my dulling and breakage rates seem about the same. I am mostly a Harbor Freight and eBay drill index buyer, though, and backfill broken bits with quality.
Not sure what Amazon has to offer but probably my favorite and most useful tool is my composite IR 3/8 impact. I use that sucker for everything.

They offer it much cheaper than the tool trucks
also gp impact sockets are amazing if anyone is looking.
Grant the Bosch daredevil spade bits love being run on an impact and are much less likely to catch on a knot in a floor joist and smack you in the face like running them in a high torque drill.
I've got like three drills plus an impact, so it's easy to set a bit and switch between tools. I really feel like the last thing I need is for my drill to be any longer.

I agree, the bitty ratcheting offset screwdriver is an awesome spare to have when I don't want to drag around my cases or I'm not in my shop.
I've been meaning to pick up another to keep in the tool kit for the new truck, thanks for the reminder.
The Neiko stuff I've got has held up very well.
Had to buy these for working on the X5...

Only place I could find a complete set for a reasonable price.
Also have Harbor Freight nearby and they have a lot of stuff. Nothing there is a lifetime buy but it can get you through a project.

As long as you know this harbor freight is great.

Yup. Also know there is a risk vs. reward ratio in there somewhere.
For example, when I stick this...

...in a header, pull up, and the magnetic is gone... I spend three hours looking for the magnetic afraid it's in the engine. Scoped every nook and cranny. All the holes were plugged.
Still don't know where that thing is. [LOL]
I just bought one on Amazon. And a bunch of other magnets and magnetic stuff.

I've only used it a couple of times so far, but the rivet nut setter I bought on Amazon is pretty slick.

Like I said, it's a personal preference thing. I'm coming from a metal fab/production mindset (we manufacture steel products for our industry) and drill bits have a way they like being treated, especially in metal, and LOTS of ways they don't. For the home shop? This is probably 100% good to go. Honestly, most cordless drills spin too fast for drill bits in their high range, but that's where most people use them. Extra heat, poor chip production, no lube, etc all leads to dead drill bits.
Snip...

For wood, I see less of a problem, so that's good to know. Especially since we are adding radiant floor heating to my brothers house and putting the coils into the joist bays means drilling a number of holes.

So many times I've tried to help people and they either don't have the right wrench, or don't even know where it is!!!
Got my sideways screw driver thing in the mail yesterday. Ceramic knife sharpener rod should arrive today
Look at what I found this morning!
Weeks after spending hours looking, completing the work, and worrying that was still somewhere in the engine!
I need to talk about my worries more on here. It really does solve problems.

I bought that cheap Bucket Head shop vac from Home Depot and it lasted me about 5 years. For $25 at the time that was a good deal. It finally died and I just bought a new Rigid shop vac.
I've gotten a lot of use out of my oscillating tool as well.
