View Full Version : Finally finished my 1919a4
Well after a year and half I finally finished building my 1919a4. It was a bigger challenge then I expected and the fact I couldn't screw up any of the parts made it a little nerve racking. I had to do a bunch of machining and learn to parkerize so I could finish her up. Need a couple of fasteners and a trip to the range to sort it out but I'm pretty proud of this build.

Yes it's a little smaller then a standard 1919a4. It's a Lakeside 1/2 scale kit that I found on another board. It shoots 22lr and can run belts or links which are in the little ammo cans. Seeing how they haven't made these kits in years with zero parts available if you screw one up, no directions and not much in the way of help online it made it a pretty daunting task.

Very nice. Slightly OT. While lakeside did some nice stuff. Their products serious lack of any instructions, combined with a less than acceptable response to inquiries. Will keep me from ever spending another dime on any of their products
So cool. Can you suppress it?

Lurch needs to build a sweet half-scale tripod mount like that one from izzy's "bad gunbroker experience" thread

He is correct, there is a place.
For Lurch
Is it semi or full auto?
Very nice little fun gun.

The little one is semi the full size FA.
I have a Razorback. It doesn't have near the same Coolness Factor your 1919 has though. I purchased a Binary Firing Systems Gen III trigger a few months ago to put in the host. I haven't installed it yet but your posting has kinda kicked me to do that.
Thank for the prompt reply.
I wish you a Good Day.

The Razorbacks are pretty cool in their own right. I would like to see some pics of the underside as I have been curious how they function.

I'm not sure what you need. Let me know and I'll explain or add more pictures. The hammer rides on the silver pin at the back of the bolt.

Pretty neat. Nothing like the 1919 bolt except the extractor
