Be curious how many media outlets, politicians and hollywood folk condemn this. Like they were so quick to do the New Zealand mosque attacks.

My analysis is that politics and/or religion behind this. Only other explanation is extortion. I'm sure the press will distort the truth on this act also.

Looking at reactions this morning, and lack thereof, is pretty telling.
At least the President gave condolences, even prior President O'bammy said something.
Does fit the narrative of Islamophobia or crazy people with "GUNS."
We had out neighborhood cul-de-sac Easter egg hunt and barbecue yesterday and a neighbor brought up if there was some messed up shit going to happen on Easter looks like it.
No group claimed the attacks yet, and there was one unrelated explosion from a safe house.
So sad it happened on Easter Sunday.
Sounds like more media/government lies to keep us afraid of guns to me. Plus the timing is so fishy.

Totally agree, this is exactly 35 days from the New Zealand thing? And right after the Muller report came out?. That's no coincidence. It could've been 41, or 26, but 35? Come-on, media is just trying to distract from Muller being a wash, so I don't doubt journalists probably flew over there to do this shit to make the back of page one tomorrow.
I posted before I read the article and as much as I'd like to make fun of people who believe that everything is fake or a conspiracy, this is a pretty awful event and now I feel bad.

Very sad news indeed
It's an ideological war. Many religions can coexist. At least one cannot.
Every religion has extremists and radical turds.
Just that some religions tend to have more than others.

So basically it was all done by suicide bombers. That is, attackers with explosives attached to their person. Sounds like the Muslims to me. I could be wrong, but that does seem to be the modus operandi of the Islamic militants.

I just read this and saw this.
I think Sri Lanka most like have to reveal who is behind this attack, because there were numbers of foreigners who died from this attack.
As the Guardian points out, the practice of blocking social media sites following these types of events is becoming more and more normal:
The social media blackout is becoming a common occurrence in the region in the aftermath of violence. In March last year, the Sri Lankan government banned Facebook and other social media sites after reports of an attack on a Buddhist temple in Abathanna triggered deadly anti-Muslim riots across Kandy, in which hundreds of homes and businesses were destroyed by hardline Buddhist groups.

Intelligence estimates of religion in Sri Lanka. I would say the Muslims attacked the Catholics to try and divide the Buddhists. Buddhism is the official religion of Sri Lanka.
"Buddhist (official) 70.2%, Hindu 12.6%, Muslim 9.7%, Roman Catholic 6.1%, other Christian 1.3%, other 0.05% (2012 est.)"
Read this morning that the death toll is up to 290. Such a sad situation.
Still parsing the very particular reaction to this...

This was just a sample, there are many more. There's two interesting things here...
1. They will not use the word "Christian" to admit this attack was targeted and likely perpetrated by their allies (Islam)
2. They found some incredibly abstract language in place of "Christian" that somehow got coordinated very quickly over the weekend. "Easter worshippers?" No one is worshipping Easter. People might have been killed while worshipping at Easter service/mass. But why would the Left that sees identity in everything leave out identity?
And just a comparison of the top two Liberal voices in America to head off the typical responses...

Also noticed the media keeps trying to pin it on "ISIS fanatics" or "al Qaeda" terrorists, though none have yet taken responsibility.
Avoiding mention of "Muslims" or "Islam" - as if they are completely separate entities from the above.
The Democrats have run off of "talking points" for a looong time. They all get on the same message using the same terms. It's posturing from an organized collective.
Honestly, it's also something that makes me question their sincerity.
It is probably DNC approved term they made up. "Easter Worshipper." No one in this world worship a day of Easter. Christian and Carholic worship a risen on the day of Easter.
It is like saying "Ramadan worshipper."
"Buddahs b-day worshipper."
I ve seen Clinton's and Obama's going to church on Sunday on a TV. What a fakers.

Denver man killed in Sri Lanka hotel explosion during Easter terror attacks (https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/denver-man-killed-in-sri-lanka-hotel-explosion-during-easter-terror-attacks/ar-BBWaShg)
A Denver man who was on a technical educational mission in Columbo, Sri Lanka was one of nearly 300 people killed Sunday in a series of Easter terror bombings at churches and luxury hotels, his employer has confirmed.
Dieter Kowalski, 40, had just arrived at his hotel when he was killed in an explosion, John Fallon, chief executive officer of Pearson, wrote in a Monday news release on Monday.
“We’re angry that a good man, who took simple pleasure in fixing things, has been killed, along with many others, by evil men and women who know only how to destroy,” Fallon wrote.
On Easter Sunday, terrorists ignited nine bombings at churches, luxury hotels, and other sites killing nearly 300 people and wounding hundreds more, the Associated Press reports. It was Sri Lanka’s deadliest violence since a devastating civil war in the South Asian island nation ended a decade ago, the AP says.
Kowalski, a technical engineer, was planning on spending a week in Sri Lanka to troubleshoot technical problems. Pearson is an educational company with 24,000 employees in nearly 60 countries. It provides services and technology to enable personalized learning, according to its website.
“He was excited about the chance to meet again in person, some two and a half years after his last trip, with Sri Lankan colleagues who had become good friends,” Fallon wrote.
Colleagues described how much fun he was to be around, how big-hearted and full-spirited he was, he wrote.
“They tell of a man to whom we could give our ugliest and most challenging of engineering problems, knowing full well that he would jump straight in and help us figure it out,” Fallon said.
“We mourn Dieter deeply today … Let’s remember the love that Dieter had for his family, friends, and colleagues – and the love they had for him. Let’s remember his love of life and his love of solving people’s problems,” Fallon wrote.
I also just read that the death toll is up to 311.

Really? Wouldn't know it's gone that high, with all the media coverage they're doing.
The hypocrisy of the left and media is so fukin pathetic. IMO depending what happens here with the latest coup attempt by the left. I'd say they're handing trump another 4 years.

ISIS is taking credit for the bombings. Their excuse is that this was retaliation for the New Zealand mosque shootings.

I read on Twitchy someone who was completely oblivious. They were defending the use of "Easter worshipper." Someone replied something like "Whatever, Passover worshipper." Then the OP accused them of antisemitism. Talk about lack of self-awareness.

The military was given a wider berth to detain and arrest suspects — powers that were used during the civil war but withdrawn when it ended.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said he feared the massacre could unleash instability and he vowed to “vest all necessary powers with the defense forces” to act against those responsible.

Umm no.......... Ban Islam....

Morons don't know that jihadis will use anything as a tool to murder people who don't follow the prophet. If guns are banned jihadis will use knives, they've used cars and trucks in Europe, ISIS used fire and water, etc.
The only thing that will stop this is if we kill so many muslims that they finally get the point and stop on their own. Figure 1.5 billion muslims on the planet, 20% or 300 million are "radicalized", so we're talking about killing at least 300 million muslims. There is only one weapon in the arsenal for that job and we should have used it on 9/12 but Bush the Younger was and still is a pussy, a saudi cocksucker, and muslim sympathizer so here we are.
They were suicide bombers. Where was the gun violence in Sri Lanka?
Oh, and by the way, when the attacker has decided to kill themselves during the attack, laws/bans are meaningless.

Yup, there is no banning anything. It would have to be killing at a level that leaves no further appetite.
And it's a conflict we never needed. The world is a big place. There is an entire region dedicated to Islam, run by Muslims in fact!

But that isn't good enough for them, they're following their evil book and there are 2 choices for the entire world, submit or die. They went into Europe a couple of centuries ago, then they were cast out, now they're back. The USA is on their target list, they don't care about the things we can create or do, they only care about subjugation to Islam and the prophet.

Which is why the Left loves them. Not only willing to murder over politics, they offer no coexistence. Weaponized humans.
Libs are crapping their pants in Europe now because they thought once Muslims pushed out/replaced native populations, the Left would have a guaranteed plurality. Turns out Islam, Feminism, homosexuality/trans-isms, and economic collectivists don't all get along so well. [LOL]
Ilhan Omar is a fine example and continues to embarrass the Dems.
The only thing they can do is use media to hide the truth "part and parcel" and hope enough people don't object before it's too late. Which I think is why we saw such strange language from Libs on this attack.

They're not satisfied with that and have a track record of going global. The only thing they understand is force. Beat them down and they'll be quiet for a couple hundred years. Repeat.
Good luck with that.

Yeah, but they're all hot or hot & humid and just plain nasty shitholes. Who'd actually want to live there when they can take over the rest of the world with much more hospitable climates? Where they exist in those 3rd world countries they still cling to their poor (non-existent) hygiene and lack of shoes. Some folks just enjoy living all Lord of the Flies; not me.
Death toll rises to 359 in Sri Lanka bombings, more arrested (https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/death-toll-rises-to-359-in-sri-lanka-bombings-more-arrested/ar-BBWepur)
COLOMBO, Sri Lanka — The death toll from the Easter suicide bombings in Sri Lanka rose to 359 and more suspects have been arrested, police said Wednesday.
The Islamic State group has claimed responsibility and released images that purported to show the seven bombers who blew themselves up at three churches and three hotels Sunday in the worst violence this South Asian island nation has seen since its civil war ended a decade ago.
The government has said the attacks were carried out by Islamic fundamentalists in apparent retaliation for the New Zealand mosque massacre last month but has said the seven bombers were all Sri Lankan. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said investigators were still working to determine the extent of the bombers' foreign links.
Police spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said Wednesday morning that 18 suspects were arrested overnight, raising the total detained to 58. The prime minister had warned on Tuesday that several suspects armed with explosives were still at large.
The Islamic State group has lost all the territory it once held in Iraq and Syria and has made a series of unsupported claims of responsibility around the world.
Sri Lankan authorities have blamed a local extremist group, National Towheed Jamaar, whose leader, alternately known as Mohammed Zahran or Zahran Hashmi, became known to Muslim leaders three years ago for his incendiary speeches online.
The IS group's Aamaq news agency released an image purported to show the leader of the attackers, standing amid seven others whose faces are covered. The group did not provide any other evidence for its claim, and the identities of those depicted in the image were not independently verified.
Meanwhile, in an address to Parliament, Ruwan Wijewardene, the state minister of defense, said "weakness" within Sri Lanka's security apparatus led to the failure to prevent the nine bombings.
They're not satisfied with that and have a track record of going global. The only thing they understand is force. Beat them down and they'll be quiet for a couple hundred years. Repeat.
Their global pursuits were always localized to areas they could control (Caliphate). They have been dispersed throughout the world. This is why I think they can't help but use terrorism; they need a force multiplier.
And, at least with the "Crusades," civilized people tolerated it for a century before getting froggy.
True, but that is the world of their making. I really don't care what they want.
Come to think of it, I really don't care what the Libs/globalists who have imported them want either. ;)

Not the first terrorist profile that reads this way. Kind of contradicts the narrative of "westernization."
Reminds me of upper-middle class lefty activists that can't be happy with anything although they have every reason to be happy and enjoy life. All while working class folks just try to build they best life they can.
They are not "unhappy" or "westernized."
They are proudly following Orthodox Islam and doing exactly what their "religion" requires them to do.
Muslims who are not blowing up Christians and Jews are the slackers - and they are often blown up by the "true followers" as well.

Genesis 16:10-12 (NKJV)

Then the Angel of the Lord said to her(Hagar, mistress of Abram):
?I will multiply your descendants exceedingly, so that they shall not be counted for multitude.? And the Angel of the Lord said to her:
?Behold, you are with child,
And you shall bear a son.
You shall call his name Ishmael,
Because the Lord has heard your affliction.
He shall be a wild man;
His hand shall be against every man,
And every man?s hand against him.
And he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.?
I guess the Christians deserved it cause they are really bad people. "Backlash." Sound familiar?
And media can say "Christian" now.

A lotta food for thought. I was active duty at the time and there was a lot of speculation when we'd go to war. From hearing the Admiral talk, it was a wonder that even the Libya got hit.

Admiral Lyons probably knew that back in the mid-70s but no one would listen.
