Ok, I have the Uzi mags, I have the dimensions and I have the tools......How the hell do you cut or drill these mags!!!?
What the hell are they made of?
I have no success with my drill press and the Dremel cut off wheels just polish the metal.
I have tried titanium bit, high speed steel, and some others that I have. Nothing seems to work on this space age, magic metal from Israel.
Anyone have experience?
Yes, I have tried YouTube etc. but there is very little info.
Thanks.

Possibly, though I suspect it wasn't funny or as clever as I thought. Nevermind

Waste? Done correctly a person will have Uzi magazines that work in an Uzi AND in an AR.

Did you try the fiber reinforced dremel cut off wheels? Also with the drill press cutting oil slow speed and hss bits allow me to drill pretty hard steel doing that Try a 2 flute taper bit or step bit

They're steel. Not super hard.

I did a few back in the day, and used an end mill to make each cut on my mill. Possible but not recommended for a drill press, though you can do it by walking it over on an xy table and taking only plunge cuts, with a final side-cutting cleanup pass.

Also possible using the abrasive cutoff wheels in a dremel, or a hand edge grinder, but those two methods lack the stability and precision of a mill or xy table on a drill press.

I will try slower speeds on my press.
Reinforced cut off wheels break around the center and wobble out.....
