I haven't tried the hornady but I load 53gr noslers in lake city brass with h322 for my 1/8 twist 20" sdm-r, 5 shot groups are around 5/8" at 100 yards. Alot of people parrot the missconception that light bullets aren't as accurate out of fast twist barrels but ive seen very informative posts and videos where guys document and prove that light loads indeed are often very accurate out of fast twist barrels.

5/8" is excellent. Guess I should try some of these. I've had good luck with Hornady bullets and ammo in the past.

Yeah I'm very pleased with my nosler 53gr load. Supposedly the 53gr vmax is very similar to noslers varmageddon bullet. You might get lucky with a factory load and have it shoot exceptional either way they should at least shoot well. My load I settled on shoots amazing out of my sdm-r though only 1 inch groups in my oldest sons varmint rifle and his good load is not as great in mine so it is possible that while light bullets can shoot very well in fast twist barrels they might be touchy (my sons is 1/8 twist as well)
