Sad to report that Blucore has recently gone way, way downhill. GM left. Lead trainer left. New employees at the counter barely know how to fill out a 4475 or complete a transfer. New managers are not much better and don't even know their own store's policies.

All of this is somewhat forgivable given the 100 yard range, etc.

However, what is not forgivable is not calling me for 60 days to confirm receipt of my tax stamp. I called the ATF, by chance, as I was headed to Blucore to pick up some other items. They informed me that the stamp I had been waiting on for 415 days was actually approved and mailed to Blucore on day 348. Had I not called the ATF I would have gone to Blucore, picked up my other items and left my stamp and suppressor behind.

No apology from the manager at Blucore. He even charged me a $25 transfer fee, which I had to get them to reverse. Since they are a "Powered by SilencerShop" dealer there are "no transfer fees" for items purchased through silencershop.com. He wasn't aware of that. Seriously?

Also, while they no longer carry magazine rebuild kits, they do carry pistol mag extensions to turn your 15 round pistol mags into something else...

I recently had an annoying experience with the young guy behind the counter, but he was just being an annoying sales person, so it's not really reflective of how they fit into the firearms services and market place.

That is not acceptable.

Who owns Blucore these days anyway? I know they were owned by a couple navy seals when they bought the old place and reopened as blucore. They had some great training classes back then and I think they sold out to some other group. One of the seal owners eric frohardt went on to run the nra carry guard and also became the director of education and training at the nra.

Yeah, typo. Thanks.

The real complaint here is the roughly 60 day window where they absolutely failed to contact me regarding the receipt of my tax stamp. Completely unacceptable.

LOL

These Bozo's just called me to let me know that they forgot to put the suppressor on the 4473 I did 2 weeks ago when I picked up the suppressor. I offered to call the ATF form to clarify. They thought that was a bad idea. Lol

Seems like BluCore has a problem here.
