I could do without his politics, but he was an icon.

Hell just got a little bit more crowded.
I don't care how iconic he was, he was an asshole and the world is better off without him. I just hope his death was painful.

He was a douchebag leftist just like his sister. Then there was this just a few years ago:
"We should rip Barron Trump from his mother's arms and put him in a cage with pedophiles and see if mother will will stand up against the giant a--hole she is married to. 90 million people in the streets on the same weekend in the country. F---," Fonda wrote in a tweet.

Never seen Easy Rider. I tried once but is was horrible. I looked at his IMDB and the only thing I know thing guy from is The Truth from GTA San Andreas.

He's dead. His politics sucked. However in 1969 a movie produced by him and Dennis Hopper that no major player wanted to touch, became a classic.
Throw in it's influence on people like me who felt there was something other to life, than just cruising around in our hot rods.

Any vitriolic feelings I had for the guy were because of the way he conducted himself in life...not because of his death. And I'm certain if he knew me, my politics and how I viewed him and his politics, he'd feel the same for me. And that's fair enough.

Speaking of hot rods...I remember Easy Rider, but I also remember Dirty Mary Crazy Larry being an influence on me when I was young as well.
Might have been a dick, but I think about a yellow Charger hitting a train at 100 mph.

"Franklin to Clown...."
Easy Rider had a happy ending.
