View Full Version : Chile Stands in Boulder County?
It's that time of year to stock the freezer with roasted Hatch, Mosco, Poblano, Big Jim, etc. Any good chile stands in Longmont? I'll be there later this week for car service. I've heard there's one in Broomfield but haven't checked it out. Of course the old standbys are on Federal in Denver but would prefer not to drive that far.

By the title, I was expecting to read something about a Chilean diplomat making a stand of some sort in Boulder.
This expectation comes from the world we now live in.
The spelling of chile vs chili is a hot topic too.

So how many of these chili stands are run by white people? And how many people buying the chilies are white?
Shouldn't the Boulder chapter of Antifa be harassing these evil white cultural appropriators?
Decolonize your mind dude! Uhuru!
Who the duck would want to buy chiles from White people?

Couldnt not. Apologies
Refreshing my own thread...King Pepper on 120th in Broomfield is great! They have Hatch (med, hot, X hot) out for display but ask and the have a full range of peppers (poblano, Mirasol, Pueblo, etc) in the back ready for roasting. Irene serves up a really, really good pork green chili while you're waiting and has burritos to go. It's the closest to Boulder and every bit as good as the stands along Federal in Denver.

I'm hoping sarcasm. [2cents]
I have never seen chili stands run by gringos and would be suspect. That said, I go to the stand on E. Colfax next to the VFW. They have good salsa too.

Denver stands that sell [emoji892] come from the same NM farms. They are the same minus what people's idealisms are. Feel free to pay more because you have to speak Espa?ol when you buy them.
