3,000 people would be spending the last time with their family.

Think about that for a second .

I think about that quite often, that and a bunch of other things and think to my self where has my country gone.

But for now I am thinking a moment of silence is appropriate.

Every year we display the flag, say a prayer for the victims and their families and promise to never forget the cowardly attack by Godless heathens upon the United States of America.

We are not bowed and our resolve will never waiver.

I used to be able to display the Flag of Honor but the local hooligans decided I shouldn't !!!! All the names of the fallen that day are on there.

It was a busy day for me. Hadn't even had time to listen to news. I went to the shop early and I didn't find out until a guy walked into the store and said, "We're at war. I need all the two two three ammo you have." Turns out I had a lot more than he could afford. But it was all gone in a half hour.

Not much makes me cry. Watching the coverage that day did.

Maybe for a different thread but also, on 9/11/12 was the attack on the American embassy in Benghazi, Libya. We should not forget this and the lies and treachery of the Obama administration.

Please add the heroes of Benghazi to your prayers on this day of remembrance and mourning.

I remember when I first heard that a plane hit the WTC, I was thinking small prop plane or the like (I was driving to school). Then on hearing the second, and hearing the Pentagon attack, I realized that we were now at war. I remember walking through the halls of my school, the other kids just doing their usual, wondering why they didn't seem to realize this fact.
