Yeah, this happened in the Tollgate community on the East side of E-470 nearby the Aurora Reservoir. I live across E-470 and thought about stopping by and seeing what might happen but decided to stay at home. On my Nextdoor app, 99.5% of the Tollgate residents and surrounding communities were absolutely against the protest and what it stood for. BTW, the person they were protesting wasn’t even home and more likely out of State. All these jackasses did was piss off a bunch of neighbors who now unsympathetic to their plight. Good job assholes.

Saw this on my news feed. Pathetic!

Does anybody have any doubts who the Democrat Party (a.k.a leftists) has become nowadays?

2020 won?t come soon enough. Let?s toss these leftists out of office!

I'm curious how a normally anonymous bureaucrat was identified for the rent-a-mob. Was it an inside job?

I don't like how private companies are allowed to detain people. Unless they are sworn officers of the United States, they should not be holding people against their will. Fascism at its finest with little accountability.

So you would be uncomfortable detaining someone who had committed a crime on your property, while waiting for the police to arrive, since you're not a federal officer? Your reasoning just doesn't make sense, dude. Private security, working on private property, employed by the property owner, is no different than you providing "security" on your property. Or maybe at your parent's house. That's hardly fascism.

Who's going to tell them the car they rode in is, a deadly weapon?

They might self-immolate.

I thought were at the edge of having a slight majority actually pay no taxes and be net tax receivers. No reference to back this up or anything, but I thought this was true. If so, we are in such deep shit.

Time to counter protest. Full open carry ARs in tactical operator gear defending the neighborhood from these scum. No right to assemble on private property, which HOAs are.

You'd be violating the same thing in exactly the same manner. If the HOA has a problem with it, they can defend themselves.

He's talking about the larger picture, and the right to open carry, and in general to stand his ground.

No, he isn't. It's not standing your ground when you drive across town to "protect" someone else's property. Property that wasn't damaged. Right to open carry? What does that have to do with people protesting ICE?

What larger picture? Has anyone even read the article? Non-violent protest (per police), zero damage, three people arrested for blocking traffic.

Am I reading a different article than everyone else? What am I missing? The responses in the thread, and even the police chief's tweet don't make sense, within the context of the article posted.

Just my humble opinion here Sturv....I think many people (including members here) are just sick and tired of the government doling out tax dollars to people who really shouldn't legally be here, or be entitled to US Government benefits....or State bennies for that matter. This protest is a representation of the people who think we SHOULD just open the taxpayer checkbook to anyone who desires to be here.

So people get pissed, then they vent on forums where they feel they are among like minded individuals.

So all it takes is the mention of "ICE" and people get triggered in every direction. Got it.

No. I'm talking about the HOA members banding together to toss this scum(protesters) out of their neighborhood.

This came across my email from a friend. It is long, but at about 9 minutes it suggest what you said. Kinda interesting, because of what supposedly the government was evaluating.

I have to agree here. Counter-protesting in this manner just plays into the hands of the lefties.

In this point I'll disagree a bit.

The purpose of protesting at someone's home - peaceful or not - is to send the message to that person or to anyone else in that organization that "we know where you live." The purpose is to intimidate anyone associated with ICE and to discourage anyone from associating with them in the future. That's a dangerous line to cross.

IMO this kind of escalation also shows how desperate the anti-ICE folks are. They know they are losing public sympathy so they have switched from trying to use sympathy to get people on their side and now it's just outright intimidation: "Don't associate with ICE or we'll do this to you!"

Unfortunately it always starts off as a non violent protest . The protesters hope (as witnessed in the comments of the local papers and web sites) someone gives them an excuse to start getting more physical. Then as the crowds / protesters become more, the agitators show up. A small rock is thrown, which becomes larger rocks and other items airborne .

Like protesters actually trying to enter Brett Kavanaugh's home while he was being grilled on tv by democrats. OR people getting very vocal at restaurants or other public places where a R is eating or having a day out with their family.

Maxine Waters called for harsh actions against R's
https://www.npr.org/2018/06/25/623206039/congressional-leaders-criticize-maxine-waters-for-urging-confrontation

One can only turn the other cheek for so long.

It would have been EXACTLY what the protesters wanted the world to see: Angry armed racists confronting peaceful loving demonstrators.

If a few protestors get shot, so much the better for them.

Think about Kent State. What do people remember about it? Do they remember the angry or violent protests? Nope. They remember one thing:

79026

You better believe the anti-ICE people would LOOOOOOVE to have a photo like that to show just how evil ICE and their defenders are.
