Looks like they got rid of the mag-well cut out and added front slide serrations. Has anyone seen the updated versions in store yet? Away studying abroad for a semester now so I can't check out the local stores.
Cabela's in Lone Tree had them (g19) a couple of months ago. Might still have them in stock. Don't know if they will all eventually be manufactured that way or if it is just another variation they are offering.
It?s my understanding that?s the only way they?ll be manufactured, that and the MOS versions...and the various limited runs, Lipseys Specials etc.

Yeah it’s the only gen 5 version on their website. Just need to decide between the 17, 19, P10C, and PPQ :/
Having shot the Gen 5 17, 19, and 34 and currently owning the 34. I personally like the way the 17 handles, the 19 carries, and how the 34 performs. If you are running a duty light, the 34 is where it?s at, a compact WML?, Or no light at all, then either of the smaller guns.

I have a 19 and a PPQ 'Classic'. I much prefer the PPQ, particularly the trigger reset. YMMV.
Walther triggers are fantastic. I just wish the guns took Glock mags [emoji846]

True, I have Glock mags for guns I don't even own. [Coffee]

Only thing I didn’t like on the walther was the more noticeable recoil, not as flat shooting as the Glocks if that’s the right term. Young and new to handguns (Dad’s a fudd). Might go PPQ since I loved how accurate I was with it compared to the Glock, but the Glocks are so proven and more aftermarket. Tough call
It's the opposite for me. I get more recoil from the G19 and some slide rub on the web of my thumb. I'm really quick with the PPQ since the trigger reset reminds me of a 1911. You might try a different backstrap on the PPQ to get a better fit to your hand.
Yet Glocks are everywhere and there's a ton of aftermarket for them.
