Sons Of Liberty Gun Works, does anyone have one?

I'm trying to find if anyone has a SOLGW gun in the Denver area that they could swing by the shop some time. I keep hearing how great they are, but so far I've only been able to look at one of their Bolt/BCGs. If someone has a gun or barrel or other parts and has some time, I'd love to look at the components. Thanks.

I saw a BS TTAG "review " years ago on their rifle. Author claimed it shot 10k+ rds trouble free on Froglube.

Shoot...everything Bowers (Rob) has built for me runs like a sewing machine...why would anyone waste money on these "specialty" items?

I acquired a few of their components to play with. It's pretty good stuff. Upper and lower are being made by Zev (they bought Mega). Their BCG is made by Microbest, same as BCMs. Barrels are BA. Their tolerances are really tight. So far I'm impressed. I'll beat up on mine for a while and see what I can see.

I'm not really a fan of the 13.7" barrel. It only really works with a Noveske Pig or NOX and a few other extra long slash hiders. It's a new flavor of 14.5 but with less velocity.

Get this, my package from SOLGW got routed through Guam, currently in Barrigada. I had to look it up, never been to Guam, but there's a Guamanian place in downtown CS that's got great chow, Hafa Adai or something like that. It's adjacent to the indy movie theater, down that little alley so it's out of the way, but worth finding.

WTF? SOLGW is in San Antonio... That's in TX in case you're an engineer.
