Stop, Drop & Shop (SDS) is where I do my transfers.
I have also used "Hickman Rifles".
I was pleased with both shops.

Is Hickman rifles still in business? I thought Earl retired?

I still use Rich Voelker at The Gun Outlet https://www.thegunoutlet.com/
One of the funner aspects of Rich's shop is that his other business Voelker Research is an Apple dealer/service center so its fun to pick up a gun when he's got frightened hippies there to pick up their Macbooks and whatnot. Plus Rich is a good dude.
Also last time I did a face to face private transfer the seller had me show up at Family Firearms and IIRC they charged a lot less for private transfers than most shops. http://ffsales.com/

Springs Armory,
Colorado arms repair,
SDS,
Voelker Research.
Not necessarily in that order.
I haven't used family firearms yet, but it's good to know about the private transfer fee.

I always use John at Red Bear Gunbroker, a home/table-top FFL.

Earl is always at his shop during normal business hours.
I expect to also see him at his tables this weekend at the TANNER Gun Show.

Gun Outlet/Voelker.
Lots of common ground here, that’s great.
