OK, lets see if I can get these to attach, one in a word doc and the other a PDF.
Looks like the PDF attached and the DOCX is too large, probably the pics.
Happy reading.
Thanks for documenting this in a paper. Downloading now to read in a bit.
I should hire out as a proof reader, this stuff always pops out at me.
The Clymer gauges were next but measured just every so slightly larger than the other gauges
Good writeup.
If you want to do more testing, I have safe full of various barrels & bolts. ;-)

If that's the only error you find, that shit is solid! You should of seen it before I had Rob help me with editing. I swear I can't figure out if I sniff too much break cleaner or need more.

LOL.
I'm better with typos and word errors than with grammar and punctuation for damn sure.

Nice work, thanks for the info, that was a fair amount of work to have done measuring over 280 times. I have a lot of old PTG reloading dies I inherited and once they are set on the press they just work without losing adjustment, unlike some of the newer stuff from old brand names I've tried.
Some of the best authors have the worst spelling.
I once had a platoon sergeant who passed out a written op order because we didn’t have time for a full brief. Was atrocious. I mentioned that aspect to my section sergeant, and his reply always stuck with me, “I don’t care if he can spell. He’s good in a firefight and that’s what we need.”
Thanks for the write up!
Really good analysis on 223/5.56/Wylde. I wonder if the results would be the same for 300 BLK barrels and gauges? Since you 3 professionals have the protocol down pat, I wonder if you could repeat for the other popular chamberings?
Thanks...love you guys.
