What part of the 1st Amendment requires truthful speech?

The fvcking congressmen have no fvcking clue how free speech works. Why should FB spend any time or money fact checking political ads. These ads are used to sway opinion, and should be free of any regulation, other than slander. It is not FB's job to police free speech.

Same for any other social media and dino media source.

I suspect this is just media circus to normalize the censorship that FB currently does. The truth depends on who interprets the information. FB wants this to happen as much as many in govt.

The hearings were pretty despicable. Many questions were of the type, "When did you stop beating your wife." The firebomb questions where they didn't even want an answer were pretty indicative of how this was political theater of the worst kind.

Facebook didn't want any part of it. It's a public forum. They're not responsible for the content.

Zuck should have fired back and asked the nazis if they believe in free speech, and if so, why are they asking FB to censor free speech.
