View Full Version : Private pilots?

Are there any private pilots here who are looking to build hours, in a subsidized fashion? I know that private pilots can?t fly for hire (professionally), but can share the cost of plane rental with friends, to a certain extent. I need to run out and back to Goodland, KS (about 200 miles) the afternoon of 11/6, for a meeting that?ll last 60-90 minutes. Should be a nice day for easy flying. I?ll pay the max allowable legal percentage of plane rental, and will then pay for your waiting time in Kansas (which I understand is not regulated, and is negotiable). If anyone?s interested, shoot me a PM.

For the Every Town morons, "extreme capacity" means 2. ;-)
Once they shoot them up they will have to get new ones anyway.

Tagging for future reference. Same general destination, but ~30 miles shorter.
Uber needs to capitalize on this.
ETA: I see there are several "cost share" flying services already.
I knew there were private plane charter options, as I have flown once on a client's private jet and had a conversation with one of the pilots about a few charters they had flown recently for some rich kid's HS prom after parties.

In New York, and a little in LA, they have Uber helicopters that take people around town to avoid traffic.
