Howdy folks, me and my friend are looking for land to hunt rabbit/prairie dogs on. Open to pointers on directions to go, or if you own some land and would kindly let us go hunt on it, it will be very much appreciated and we will respect your property.

Thanks!

Good article. I want to get it and hunt rabbits and squirrels myself.

Grab the walk-in atlas and start exploring.

I?ve found a couple spots to hunt fox squirrels, but habitat and population means it?s a one trip a year deal. Or at least after eating them, I?m done for the year [emoji23]

Many a cold winter morning spent hunting cottontails in northwest Colorado as a kid. Great times, good eats.

I try to make it up there at least one weekend each winter.

If you're unarmed, you are a victim.

Rabbits aren't too hard to find on public land, but prairie dog towns normally get taken care of really quick on public land that you can shoot on. The article linked above has some links to great resources
