As of 3 minutes ago, No on CC is winning again, 55.85% to 44.15%, difference of about 86k votes.

Edit (rather than new post): Now, as of 7:50, it's at a 99k lead.

I see Mike Coffman is running for mayor of Aurora. Is that former US representative Mike Coffman?

ETA: Just looked it up. It is. Wow.

Yeah, I couldn't vote for him, voted for Marsha, our last Mayor and a true conservative.

I hot one at work. Lied on every question. I encourage everyone to make these irrelevant by providing horribly inconsistent data, like dem voting for trump.

Good. If CC passed it would've burned a ton of time in the courts over their heavily biased, inaccurate ballot language. They may as well have had "Paid for by proponents of CC" on the bottom of the ballot language....

Semantics. Permanently forfeiting refunds, which it seemed to neglect to mention, is in fact, a tax increase, which it also failed to mention. It's just a non-specific tax increase.

E.g. if the U.S. Gov't did the same thing, the fact that it doesn't change payroll deductions doesn't mean it wouldn't change the effective tax rate of an individual - just in a non uniform way person to person; remitting a payroll estimation to the gov't isn't a "tax". What the government keeps, is.

Glad CC failed.
Happy DD looks to be failing, although it's too close to know till tomorrow.
Glad Jeffco's Tabor BS failed.
Happy to see Rich Seymour and Lyndsey Smith in Westminster (likely, hopefully... They are pro-water sports on Lake Standley)

Longmont people are dumb. We could have eliminated some sales tax, but that got extended indefinitely.
We got Bagley back as mayor, which is better than the other schmuck.
Council at Large went to the liberal twit.
But otherwise it wasn't all bad.

DD is fascinating to watch. Over 1.2 million votes cast, currently Yes has an 84 vote lead. Definitely will be going to a recount.

Happy to see CC go down in flames, hope DD does to. Am very unhappy that 2A and 2B in Colorado Springs passed.

Do you mean 2B and 2C? I thought 2A got shot down?

Sorry, yes, 2B and 2C. I feel like the "road repair" money approvals from past years were dishonest and the money was diverted to non-critical sidewalk and gutter repair until about 4 months ago when all of a sudden roads actually got worked on. They were tearing up sidewalk and corners that had just been laid 3-5 years earlier and still looked new to put in ADA-compliant corners while huge potholes were left to fester.

Cdot is having to do this all over the state. Some huge potential reduction in federal money and potential lawsuits if they weren't made complaint

^^^^^^^^ Exact same thing happened in my neighborhood in Westminster. Everyone was baffled on what the hell they were doing. Then they repaved 100th ave from Wadsworth to Simms, and turned westbound 100th into 1 lane from 2. However, they did add gigantic bicycle lanes heading both directions. In doing so, there are confusing merge lanes where it goes from 2 to 1 lane heading west. And abrupt " get over now" style of merge. With no signs. The whole project looks like the lines were designed by a complete moron. The entire area has complained, and of course they are going to do nothing. Every day for the past 2 months there are daily near misses on this road. It's awesome money spent.

Lewis is a complete moron political insider appointee. She is driving many long term quality management and rank and file away.
