I've always gone Leader-REctor. Is going east out of the CRC better? I went that way once, but I have no idea what exact roads I took. What keeps you on the pavement the most?

Rector-Leader rd is the road east of CRC entrance, 96th ave dead ends into it. Bridge work is west of entrance.
Most folks come in from Byers on Calhoun-Byers rd north from hwy 36 or 88th ave from hwy 79. Both routes end up on 96th ave west of the range.
Most pavement/least gravel is hwy 36 east to Rector-Leader, north to 96th ave, west to entrance. IMO.
Probably depends where you?re coming from. From my place it?s the most direct route. Google maps says 1 hour and 7 minutes. Coming in from the other side says 1 hour and 21 minutes.
My way is mostly paved but the dirt parts don?t bother me unless we?ve had a bunch of snow or rain.

It's about equal amount of dirt roads either way. However, the road coming in from 96 (bethrens and 88th) has some real slippery mud if it has recently rained at a 90 degree turn that will put you in the ditch if doing over 15 mph. From Bennet Taking 88/96 saved me about 6-7 minutes as opposed to hwy 36/rector-leader.
I need to start going the way Ray goes. I usually take I-70 to Bennett, then dirt roads from there. When the dirt roads are dry, doing 70 mph most the way is not out of the question. And doing 55 mph the whole way is not even uncomfortable.
My way takes me less than an hour if I fudge the speed limits a little.
All you fuckers that drive past my house should pay the toll by throwing ammo or mags in my yard as you go by. (112/79)
It's not a mag transfer if I find it in the ditch, right?

Just sayin'.
Sent from somewhere...
Better response with what caliber/s you need.

My place isnt very good to shoot on. Too many houses. You have been out to Will's place to shoot (on 120th not far from here), we're there almost every weekend doing something. You are welcome to attend.

All of them... haha
I knew you were close to Will. I guess I just assumed you had enough space for your own range.

I have the space (38.5 acres), but I would need to build some large berms. Highway on east side, house directly centered on west side, and north/south lots have houses as well. Only 7mi of dirt road to his house, so I just head over there.

I got an invite once, bit couldn't go at the time.
00Tec, what if I let you borrow a homemade dozer to build your berms. All you have to do is transport it and get it running. Then once you have it running, I can build berms at my place! What a great opportunity for everyone!

Homemade dozer? Sounds interesting.
I wont be ready to put up berms for a few years. Got too many projects going.
Audi motor. It is in running condition, but I'm pretty sure all the fluids are drained. I'm not sure if there is a key, and was never taught how to operate it. I've seen it run though.

That ol beast ain't got many berms left in it.
Need to haul and dump dirt to build berms, pushing it is LOTS of work and takes long time. Fun for the first day.
