He thinks people should honor fallen soldiers. What a fool.
Maybe he should have done it in blackface?

It's odd how certain freedoms...speech, for example...are only extended to certain people who believe a certain way.
Sounds like he's 85, and has zero fucks to give. You may or may not agree with him, but I certainly respect him sticking to his position, consequences be damned. Maybe he can get a deal with Nike...

Agree with him or not, why is what he said offensive, but what Colin Kaepernick says and does in terms of dishonoring a country not offensive? It's offensive as hell to me. Of course, I'm part of the demographic that nobody gives a fuck about offending.
Fuckin' liberals.

Well, it IS Canada...
They have prosecuted comedians for arguing with hecklers under "hate speech" laws.
It is also Canada. They don?t have our free speech rights. The government there sensors the news and shows on a level we have never seen but that Obama tried to achieve.
All said...he is right.

If you think Canada has less free speech than we do, just wait.

I know it's Canada. But the same thing happens here all the time.
disappointing to see his long-time broadcast partner Ron MacLean grovel and issue the standard BS apologies to the PC crowd.

They only protect you from government retribution. A company can still fire you if they think you're hurting their brand.

I'm referring to speech in a general sense. Not in a Constitutionally protected way.
I used to hang around in high school a bit with his son, Tim Cherry, when they lived here in Denver. Never knew the Dad, not in touch since then with the son, but still, lol. I guess I had an idea his Dad was famous, but had no idea what Hockey was back then.
