Glock 19 Gen 5

Well I?m about to join the merry band of Glockers that are everywhere. Got an offer I couldn?t refuse, Gen 5 in the box with everything, 3 mags, night sights and holster, very low mileage, picking it up either Wednesday or Thursday. I?ll give it a whirl and see if I like it. If not you?ll soon see it in the classifieds lol.

The original owner sold it to fund a Sig 365.

Appreciate that, I have had M&Ps, all with Apex trigger kits, figured with the deal offered I had to grab this one. I am an old dog but can still learn new tricks.

So the pistol has one of the extra back straps installed. Stupid question-Am I supposed to reinstall the pin in the frame if I’m not going to use any back strap? I’ll tackle it later tonight or tomorrow morning. Thanks.

You should have a shorter pin if you aren?t running the back straps.

And yes. Reinstall the pin. It secures the trigger housing or whatever Glock calls it.
