Tom Sullivan is already at it.

From the Colorado Independent

https://www.coloradoindependent.com/2019/11/23/gun-reform-lost-stolen-safe-storage/

Highlights

"He wants to require gun owners to report lost and stolen firearms and keep their guns locked in a safe when not in use. He also wants to see a three-day waiting period after a background check begins before a firearm can be taken home. It should be a felony crime, rather than a misdemeanor, to try to purchase a firearm with a felony record, he said. And the age to purchase a rifle in Colorado, he said, should be 21 years old, up from the current age of 18 years old."

"Majority Leader Alex Garnett, a Democrat from Denver, says he?s on board with Sullivan?s call for new laws... ?It?s just looking at ways to promote responsible gun ownership,? Garnett said."

If you can be on your parent's insurance as a 'child' when you're 25, why not 25?

Due to the fact that all sales require a background check you have to be 21 to purchase in CO.

How will they enforce secure storage?

You can buy shotguns and rifles at 18. Just not handguns or receivers

What everyone should be thinking of, is how unlikely their kids are to be killed at high school.

Yeah, so random, I forget about it even though I live a mile or two away.

Thanks, kidicarus13.

My kid's are in elementary school, but you are right, I'm more concerned about an accident with crazy drivers while crossing the busy street to get to my kid's school, than I am a school shooting, not too mention the way some of the parents drive through the parking lot of the school.

Add alcohol and driving to that. Smoking and vaping.

Just don't let anyone grow up. Make everyone dependent on our parent, the government overlords.
