Happy Thanksgiving, I Am Thankful For ...

I am thankful for my new job. I left the powersports industry after 40+ years. It has been good to me and lately, not so good, was unsure of which way to go. The wife said that she understood that as the breadwinner, the choice was up to me for a career change but if at all possible, she wanted to remain in CO, especially in Fort Collins. I looked around and then checked out the City of Fort Collins job site and applied for bus operator.

Monday I did my sign off and today my first solo route. I really like driving a buss, the people at Transfort are great and supportive and the pay is actually better than I was making at my last job.

I'm thankful for my wife and the few true friends i have. I'm also thankful for having the opportunity to adjust some of the negitive things in my life. I sometime don't aknowlege it but I am blessed.

I have a lot to be thankful for in 2019. My wife and I were able to break the cycle of renting by purchasing a townhouse in Arapahoe County. Now I'm thankful for good health. My wife is at full term with our first child!

I don't even know where to start. Lately I've been trying to catch up on my "thanks givings" on a daily basis. I'm not the richest or the brightest or the best looking but I've had a pretty damn good life thanks to many good people.

This year has seen some monumental changes in my life...some good, some not so good. And more to come in the days ahead. I've been able to, so far, see my way through all of them. And I'm thankful for that.

I am thankful for: 58 years of happy marriage, three great kids, five grandkids kids, three great grand kids, twenty nine (29) years of retirement, five different cancers and I am still here to enjoy my 83 birthday coming up next month. A LOT to be thankful for. Wish everyone here could be as fortunate as I have been. [Luck]

There too many things I'm thankful for to list....I truly am blessed! Right now though, I'm thankful Chick-fil-a is open for me to eat at this little airport in Greenville! I'm also thankful that I will get to see my wife and son tonight for the 1st time in 2mo!
