I'm about Black Friday-ed out. I've been taking advantage of BF deals for about the past two weeks. All kinds of useful stuff. Most of it's been practical stuff I need around the house. Only thing I've actually bought today is a maintenance kit for my John Deere lawn tractor.
Been looking around online all morning for a deal that's just too good to pass up. Haven't found that deal just yet.
Not really a black Friday deal but there is a handgun that I have been searching for for months and I finally found it in stock. Debating about ordering it while I can find it.
Debating about running down to Ark Tactical to look around if I can motivate myself to leave the house today.

At least 2-3 more hours diggin out. Drift runs right down our road 24-30 inches deep.
Lots of new Sitka gear, getting my elevated II gear has been the focus lately
Walkers electronic ear buds
And trying to find my son his first .410 shotgun. Leaning toward the mossberg 510 bantam in camo but nobody seems to have that one on sale
I got a bunch of email about Black Friday deals. I plan to get some more.

Looking for a decent touchscreen laptop. Toss up between a Dell & HP. Just don't know (even now) about what's good or not in the under $500 price range. Do i need a touchscreen type or not? who knows. I don't game on them so no need for a graphics card type

Sounds like you are looking for something like a Microsoft Surface. You can use it as a small laptop or remove the screen and use it as a tablet. Great for people that travel a lot or mostly use their laptops for personal use as in surf the web and use email, though it is a fully capable laptop and can run any program that any other computer can run.

HP has some really nice deals today. I don't need a computer but was considering a laptop and new printer just because the deals are good. I'm a good consumer. Not good enough to leave the house on BF, though.

My problem with the Surface kickstand designs is that they're not 'lap-able'. There are advantages to the clamshell design if you don't need the dedicated tablet configuration.
I have a Dell Inspiron 2-in-1 convertible and I don't use the touchscreen for much more than doing jigsaw puzzles as I'm shutting down for the evening.
I would get something with an i5 CPU at a minimum. The i3 CPUs are real dogs.
For laptops, dump Intel and get the new AMDs. More powerful, more efficient and less cost. Intel has fallen behind.
Ryzen 5 or better. Some are less than $500 at microcenter and bedt buy.
Asus, Acer, Lenovo better than Dell & hp.

AMD is still playing catch-up in the mobile space. They're not as power efficient as the Intels.

I ordered the Sportsman?s P365. I think as long as your email is registered with them, you received an email. I had two different emails come in. The code is one-time use.
Sportsman?s was a better deal for me. Choice of no safety, 2 mags, and X-ray3 sights.
Here is the code I didn?t use. Posted elsewhere, so use it quickly if you want it.

I've had 3 computers with AMD chips. Hated them all. Slow and unreliable every one. Hated 'em. Granted it's been several years since I used an AMD machine.
But my wife has one that's less than a year old and it's slow and unresponsive, too, even after I cleaned out all the crap and bloatware.

Finally decided I wanted to build a P80 G19 so I picked up a P80 frame but the next day I found a full kit that was just under 400 shipped that was to good to pass up so I ordered it as well. Will probably list one of the frames once I get them both. I also picked up one of the 800 rnd 9mm Monarch Spam Cans from Academy and another 4 of the Federal 9mm Black packs.
Thought about that 642 deal but I've spent way to much money this year on guns so I need to chill out.

I picked up one of IMA's boxes of assorted goods.
The one item I was after normally sells for about $75 more than I paid for the entire box.
Plus free shipping (based on the amount spent) and an additional 10% off with the code they sent me.
I have been watching the GPC 2 hour specials, so far none are interesting or are not allowed in Colorado.

I was eyeballing some of the $75 frames but didn't pull the trigger. Finishing up a long slide 19 and wasn't quite sure I should undertake another project until that's done.
Might be interested in your spare frame if it's a black friday sort of price.
Full auto SBR and it comes with 6,000 rounds of ammunition and ships right to your house for $129.
Sure, it's just a BB gun but it still looks like fun.

Friend has a full auto pellet gun. Thing was a hoot.
Had been passively thinking about a new truck and didn't realize Ram was having a BF deal on "employee pricing."
Probably a gimmick, but I checked around anyway.
As expected, to get the truck I want, I'll have to factory order. They're not even close on anything option-wise.
In that case, I'll likely do the broker thing like I've done on my last two. Got a great deal and an amazing trade number that was at private party/almost retail numbers.
Ram has been running the Employee Pricing deal for a while.
I went through a broker for my 2019 Ram about this time last year. They also auctioned my previous vehicle and I got more than expected for it.

The 2018 model 65" high end Samsung QLED TV (Really a monitor with a single fiber cable for power and signal with an external tuner box) on Amazon right now is almost half the price I paid last year. Currently @ $1,500.
50" LCD TV's are way cheap now, like $350 or so for a 4K.
You still did good getting 3 TV's for less than $200 each.
New sub from best buy. 1/2 off what they have been selling it for. And some uhd movies at cheaper than streaming prices.

Threadripper is a desktop/workstation chip primarily targeted to enthusiasts. I also like AMD's EPYC server chips, but neither are related to the current topic.
I have yet to see any AMD mobile solution that was as effective or efficient as Intel.

As long as you're always web connected. They suck for any standalone tasks. You're also getting in deeper with Google.

"There are lies, damn lies, and statistics."
Comparing graphics was on a handicapped Intel running shared RAM with a single DIMM in single channel mode. You can find corner cases by jockeying configurations. The fact that they miraculously had a huge "upgrade in performance" with a BIOS update either indicates that the benchmarks aren't properly addressing the hardware, or the system was shipped before it was working correctly.
AMD can be affordable, but they're still behind in laptop tech. This is especially the case if you want to use it on battery.
This may change with the Ryzen 4000 coming in January.
Intel has had its problems with the 10nm fab. 8th, 9th, and now 10th gen CPUs have been constrained.

I think the best deals I got were the 642 for $249.99 and LPK's for $23 shipped. Other than that, BF for gun stuff was meh.
For Black Friday some jack wagon made a fraudulent charge to my debit card for $990.
The charge was made and the card was cancelled before Black Friday leaving me without a debit card for now so purchasing good deals online was pretty much impossible.
Guess it saved me some money but running around using cash for everything just seems so archaic.
Hoping the new debit card arrives soon. I?ve already made two ATM trips with my wife?s card.
My Amex got hacked pretty much right on schedule, every two years around the holidays. Kind of a hassle because almost every autopay I need was setup with that card.
That said, I can't imagine not having at least 1 or 4 other CC with a high credit limit to fall back on when needed.

If anyone is in the market for Geissele stuff, their sale is still going till midnight tonight. All their triggers are ~100 bucks off, all their complete guns are ~600 dollars off, and the rest of the site is just as significantly discounted.
I picked up one of their 16" mk18 rails w/ a gas block for 260 bucks, and a super charging handle for 50 with free shipping.
I kept getting ads from a place that apparently offers some sort of financing.
In this example you can clearly see that you could buy this item for about $650.
If you don?t like that option then you can finance it for a year and pay nearly $900 for your $650 item.
