View Full Version : Any gunsmiths along the front range the are good with CZ pistols?
I have a CZ SP-01 Phantom that I would like to have some trigger work done to. Any recommendations?
CZ trigger jobs are not cheap or easy. I had an SP-01 for a long time and I never had the balls to take it apart.
CZ Custom (eerw) is the place to send it to.
If you're handy and daring Cajun Gunworks makes some drop in kits.

They also offer full service work if that's more your thing.

I just tore it down. Took me about 6 tries to get it out back together right. Now it’s easy. [ROFL1]
Now I need to decide if I should order some CGW parts.
Did do some polishing which smoothed out the trigger quite a bit.
Order CGW parts and do it yourself. They’re quality parts and he backs them up.

Something about spending $250 on trigger parts for a gun I paid $320 for bothers me.

Dont call CZ Custom then. Trigger jobs (parts and labor) run $450-500.
There are a lot of tricks, tools, jigs and hard earned knowledge that go into CZ trigger jobs.

I contacted CGW about doing the work but they have about an 18 week wait.

Buy the kit, DIY. Unless you need it. Right now, 8 weeks (in gunsmith speak) is about 3 months, easy.
