This wind is crazy. No trees on the house or cars so that's good. And the kids are visiting their sister in Thornton - even better.

I guess I'll just have to play with some of my prep toys. Darn. :) [werdo]

No generator?

You didn't make a move with the "prep toys" thing?

GG, we lost power a few times today and I have none of my good stuff with me...it's still in storage. It's the next trip though, I'll have it. :)

Yes it is, and out of state moving adds a special flavor especially when weather dictates your plans.

There are a few outfits down here that specialize in back up power, and I'll be looking into it. I likes my tricity.

One of those would be sweet.

All you need (in winter) is one with enough juice, to power the heating system, when starting up. Unless you have an electric stove and drier.

Any idea when you'll be getting power again?

Well thanks bud (maddog). I'll be the first to give you a hand if you need help.

It's back. No big deal but it was good to test everything out and get comfortable with it all. Was kinda easy, really. Being prepared is like that I guess.
