I know .22lr is generally not recommended due to lead etc. in a centerfire can.

but what about jacketed rimfire like .22 mag?

Should work ok. .22 Mag is still pretty dirty, especially in short barrels, and most likely supersonic out of just about everything.

Is it a serviceable can?

Technically, but I think more for the manufacturer. Certainly not like the pop apart rimfire cans.

Should be fine.

Dump some CLR in there every once in a while if the crud builds up.

Is a .22 magnum actually jacketed or just washed like other golden rimfire bullets?

.22 WMR uses actual jacketed bullets.

It’s like the formal wear of rimfire. :)
