So anyway. dealing with an offshore co (CHINA) for defective drill bits. Having gone back n forth for a refund. Too many emails to bother with now.
Good day,
Thanks for your reply.
ok, if you do not want to return it, to resolve this issue more quickly, would you please help give us a five star positive feedback? Then we will full refund you directly, you do not need to return it, which will be easier to both of us, do you agree?
If so, once we get the good feedback, we will full refund you.
Look for your reply.
Have a nice day.

For the longest time I thought HK set the bar for the absolute worst customer service on the planet. Then I started dealing with SiriusXM. Toss up.

I have come to the point that I will only buy from offshore china junk slingers for $ amounts that I am OK with losing. If it actually shows up, bonus. Anything critical or expensive is purchased from US distributor only and I pay the added cost to do so. Mental wellness found.

ebay. My back n forth emails are interesting. The second one said OK we'll credit you $5. for your troubles. That's after I said I would like a return shipping lable and RMA # for full refund.
Then they rambled on about blah, blah, blah.
That's when I said Here's your web page info where it says NO CHARGE TO RETURN A DEFECTIVE, INCORRECT, OR DAMAGED ITEM.
My last email said refund immediately all payment made to you for this item. OR I will resort to another less than cordial venue to seek refund by.
That's when I contacted ebay who said Mmmm, no this is not acceptable, or how we here expect our vendors to act.
Great where's my refund?
So now it's the obligatory 48 hr period where the vendor has to respond to ebay directly, to explain their Give us 5 starts before we give you a refund, demand.
either way i'm plastering them all over ebay. But I have to wait that 48 hrs before doing so. .
I try not to buy or sell through international seller nor try to sell on ebay GSP program. This year,I sold 2 off of ebay GSP, and bought none intl. Usually they contact me if I can ship, and I get to review their feedback prior.
Both were to canada.
Realistically for ebay should be
Return
Refund
No feedback
Some items will cost more on shipping than what seller bought it for. So sometimes you will see do not send item back and they refund on small and/or inexpensive item.
Depends on the price and weight/dim of item, they might just not take return and send buyer a refund during to intl shipping being costly.

You win.

I bought new fairings for my motorcycle from China. I made sure to nail them down to what I wanted, and they were offering, before I sent them money. If the transaction had gone bad, I have no doubt that my money would have been lost.

I always look for where item is shipped from. Usually they have CHINA in large letters when it's a direct from overseas vendor. This one said Michigan

$5.00???? For a $$26.58 item are you kidding me??? I want my money back, complete refund + a RMA & shipping label to send this faulty item back. This is an out of spec piece of garbage set of drill bits. REFUND .
So far i have been patient dealing with you. I have not been leaving negative feedback about you, or your product, so far. Or have i contacted ebay about this. You have until the 26th to resolve this issue or the negative feedback will be the least problem.

Btw do not mention anything about the feedback or talk about negative feedbacks. Seller can easily remove the negative/neutral feedback with that message.

They can and I would repost it. Either way screw them.
Ok we understand you're not happy with the item we sold you. Based on the $200 you spent. How about we refund you $50 , after you return the item and call it good.

My latest return story is actually pretty incredible.
I spent weeks looking for a new mattress. Shopped at several stores and settled on one. Hundreds cheaper on Amazon so I bought it from them for just under $900. Delivered, set up, ready to go. Slept on it for a few nights and, surprise, not quite the same as testing it in the store. I hated it. Started a return but needed a human's intervention because of the size. Very nice lady gets on the phone, I give her a 20 second brief on why I don't like it. She asks if I want a replacement or refund. I opted for the refund and she processed it immediately. Then she tells me to do whatever I'd like with the mattress because they don't have a vendor to pick up over-sized items in this area. Seriously?
Say what you will about Amazon, but that's the kind of thing that makes Amazon my go to place, at least initially, for just about anything I need.
I donated the mattress to a domestic abuse shelter in town via the Salvation Army and bought another from Amazon. I understand doing that for low $$ items that aren't worth the cost of return shipping. But a $900 item? Obviously their strategy is working for them.
