North of Bennett is currently closed due to pretty serious auto accident. Waiting for EMS to arrive.

Looks like probably at least 30 minutes to clear enough to pass traffic. There are injuries, unknown if fatalities. If there are it may be several hours.

Converse Rd approx 1 mile west of 79 is best detour.

No word from responding EMS as to fatalities, but size/volume of response would suggest probable.

Cleaned up late yesterday afternoon, all good for the bumpkins.

This made it to the paper. No fatalities. Dude #1 was driving a 88 Bronco and was flipping a u turn in the highway. Dude #2 was driving a 08 GMC pickup and t-boned dude #1. Dude #1 wasnt belted and was ejected, leading to a helicopter ride. Dude #2 rode the meat wagon to the hospital. Both will survive.

Drugs/alcohol suspected as a contributing factor.
