Glock 44

Haven?t really seen any discussion here on the new Glock 44 in .22lr.

anyone got one yet? Thoughts on it as a g19 trainer?

the Oklahoma shooting forum has several members with one so far and reports seem favorable.

Just saw earlier on instagram a user with a cracked slide. Others are reporting firing out of battery and multiple jamming problems.

Handled one saturday. The slide is plastic, as in, feels real cheap plastic. But who, knows they had 2 and both were in the process of being sold.

I've got 500ish rounds on one so far. Probably 30ish or so failures of some sort (fte, stvp, and first round pickup). Gonna clean it really well and re lube it and run a bunch more to see what it does.

Hey, it could happen. I think in twenty plus years of owning various 19?s I have had two minor malfunctions that were ammunition related.

I’m still not talking to glock since they missed the chance to make the Glock 40 a .22

I shot one at SHOT show this year, loved it. Glock ran 2500 rounds through the two they had on the table with no issues.
