Howdy everybody!
Splitting a bison with my in-laws and I'm looking for a place in the general vicinity of Denver and surrounding areas for reasonably priced hide tanning! If anyone has someone that's done good work for them in the past for a reasonable price, please let me know! thank you!

I take my stuff to Almost Alive up in North Denver. They source out their tanning. I did a fur on Antelope and it cost me $150. Doing fur on was a mistake by the way. I don't know if the price would be more for such a large animal, or for just the leather. Probably worth a call.

Yeah, antelope and deer will shed if you do a fur on with them, a bison should keep its hair just like a bear does.

Thanks for the advice everyone! I called both places you recommended and will be bringing my hide by Almost alive on Monday!

I like those guys. The owner is almost always around and he gets lots of cool stuff to look at.

Anyone know if these places would do/send out some coyote hides?

The one I suggested is where I had my coyote done.

Thanks! I gave them a call and it sounds like they do them all the time.
