I had a Cobray M12 .380 back in the day. Was kind of fun, and actually surprisingly reliable.

Mine was not reliable or that accurate and the second time I sliced my hand open on the rear sight when charging the bolt, it was sold. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200210/3fd353bc1a23ffe9a79f734592b25623.jpg

I've got a couple NFA M10A1As, and two closed-bolt semi M10 variants. Never had any of the M11s or M12s.
The semis mostly just give me a place to park uppers when I'm not using them on the SMGs.
I mostly shoot the MGs in 9mm, but I have 45 uppers and 5.56 uppers for them, too.

5.56? How do you jam a magazine of 5.56 into the pistol grip?

Some MAC uppers relocate the magazine well forward of the lower frame.
The magazine well that actually gets used, that is. The old one stays where it always is.
I did do a bunch of modular grip conversions, so they can take greasegun, Uzi, Sten, cobray mags. I've thought about doing an MP5 magwell conversion, too, but it'd only work for old style straight sticks, or the new USC style straight bodied polymer mags, maybe.
Well I?ll be a monkey?s uncle.
Guess these things have come a long way since their heyday in drive by shootings.

To @Mercula: I was unable to reply to your last PM because the system says your inbox is full.
Nothing wrong with inserting a mag only when the bolt is closed, but it makes the mag hard to seat. I don't bother doing it that way since my open bolts are range toys, and if I need to work on feed issues away from a range I use snap caps or dummy rounds.
Bolt inertia makes open bolt muzzles slap down, and if you're not experienced with them, you may start flinching pre-emptively to react to it. That'll keep your rounds off target. It's OK to practice dry firing some to get used to it before you go live, and go slow and get some experience with it when using one at the range. Just grip firmly and be steady.
Thank you sir for all the info.
