So my rear left window will not go beyond a 1/4 of the way up.
Goes down just fine, and will go back up to that point just fine, but that's it.
I have a replacement window regulator + motor on order from Ebay, but it will be a few days before it gets here.
Anybody knows a trick to close it manually for the time being without taking the damn door apart?
So far I tried the following (from Google searches):
Slamming the door while activating the switch.
Punch the inside panel while activating the switch.
Roll down the window all the way and keep the switch pressed 5 secs to "re-index'" the window range of movement (???).
The window lock button is not "ON".
It's kind of cold in there...[Snow]

If you gently helping it up with your hand isn't working, then a cable might be wrapped around something. If that's the case, taking the panel off is the only way.

Time to pull the panel. Just leave it off until the replacement comes in.

Depends on year. If its the 05 or similar then you have a window lift that has cables which pull the brackets where the window mounts up and down the two tracks. When it was cold and my window froze the cable jumped from the drum on the motor and would not go up. Have someone pull up on the window as you are hitting the up button. That worked for me and stayed put until the new regulator arrived.

While having someone hold the button in the "close" position, place your palms on both sides of the window and rock it front to back. Many times they'll bind in the tracks in colder weather, or get cocked in the door so they bind up.

Just tape a trash bag over it. Seems like a permanent fix for some people so should work temporarily.

This. You're going to have to do it when the new parts come in anyway.
