Anyone going to the Republican Caucus tomorrow? I'll likely be going, as a Precinct Captain, I think I owe it to the team (even though I did a piss poor job organizing last year.)

Funny (or, as we know, fake news!), when I google Colorado Republican Caucus, I get this Democrat hit page...

The good news is that there are plenty of Republicans out there. See Trump 2016.

I seem to recall the 2016 Republican caucus (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_Colorado_Republican_caucuses) went to Ted Cruz. Wheee!!!

You don't have to be registered as a Republican to vote for Trump.

I thought they changed the rules so everybody would register as an independent and vote in the primary for the other party’s easiest candidate to beat.

Wasnt there a primary election?

Caucusing is pointlessly a time waster. Just send in a ballot and count the votes.

Tell them not to be the same old born-to-lose fucktards again this year

Independent is associated with the Independence Party.

I think you mean unaffiliated.

Everyone should receive ballots for ALL possible candidates to vote for. Anything else is unAmerican. Going to switch to unaffiliated when I get the chance.

You can change your affiliation online.

With the changes to the primary system via referendum in the last election, there's no advantage in being affiliated with a party.

The disadvantage of being unaffiliated is that you get on the Dems' list and they spam the shit out of you.

Actually, I got no spam or texts this year, from either side.
