Hey, been a long time since my last post. My wife is pregnant and her father brought over a real beat up and rusty H&R 1900 12 gauge. Apparently it was his grandfather?s. All the wood is busted up and the action barely moves from all the rust. It is also missing the hinge pin that connects the barrel to the stock. I have been scouring the web for a replacement pin but can?t seem to find it. Any idea where to look for one? Is this something that I can have made? Thanks

Anything can be made but it may not be worth it. Sounds like a wonderful wall hanger

Quick goog search shows that this was a removable quick pin provided there is scallop on left side of reciever. If so, this will be a pain to find, and would be somewhat costly to get made.
If you just want to shoot it though, any properly sized pin of the right material will do. That and a littlw ducktape.

Post a picture of the pin and rough measurements.

Sentimental value can be over priced. Would your Grandfather think your a idiot spending money on a gun that he may have abused and neglected?
Run a machine screw and nut or epoxy the parts together and make a lamp out of the poor thing.

Have you tried the Sarco or Numrich websites ?
