Had to replace the starter on my daughter's CR-V, so took off the throttle body/intake system. Cleaned it all up while apart, and Honda requires a reset/calibration of the throttle position sensor using their (or similar) HDS programmer, before you can perform the ECM Idle learn reprogramming. Right now the idle fluctuates as usual because I can't retrain the computer until the TPS is reset!!
Anyone close to the Springs that has a unit with the Honda software on it that will do the TPS Calibration/reset?
Older models had a physical sensor 'body' that could be moved manually to reset the idle, these newer ones require it all to be done electronically!
I know I could buy a Foxwell unit off Amazon that will do it, but money's tight during this shutdown time, cuz of job losses, pay cuts, etc...
Thanks!

Anyone? Does anyone know of a reputable shop here in town that may have it?

This article says you can do it manually, but shops usually do it by scan tool.
Shops perform a Honda throttle body reset with a scan tool, but you can perform it manually by following this procedure:
1) Turn the ignition key to the RUN position for 2-seconds. Do not start the engine.
2) Start the engine and run it at 3,000 RPM until the radiator fans come on.
3) Then let the ending idle for five minutes with no loads (lights, heated seats, rear defogger, blower motor, radio, etc OFF)
4) After five minutes, shut off the engine.

Thank you, however that's the idle relearn/reset procedure, and if you don't reset the TPS (has to do with voltage, I believe), the idle relearn won't work. I know, I've tried it a bunch of times!

I have a Blue Lemur. Can it reset the PCM/ECU ?
I mean do you have an engine check light?
A quick look through the Honda forums shows that some members claim they can fix the problem by disconnecting the battery cables for 10 minutes. Usually this clears the KAM (Keep Alive Memory) which is how the air fuel ratio performed for the last 40 engine starts. My Blue Lemur can give live AFR figures to help trouble shoot.

From what I've read, the Blue Lemur won't work.
My son-in-law may have a lead on a place with the Honda diagnostic scanner (HDS) and software which will take care of this...
Thanks much!
