Where do you suggest?
You're welcome to use my range, if you're willing to make the drive.

In the morning I will call a couple of options......... I think I am finding stuff closer, thx for the offer
Get on google earth and look for spots off the beaten path that aren’t near houses.. there is the south range/ Harris Park or whatever its called that is listed here in a number of posts.

Magnum's Indoor Range is open to members and their guests. They said they were told to close by the County Health Department yesterday morning but update received today says their ranges will be open after further discussions with County and State Health officials. They have a 25 and 100 yard range.

Cheyenne Mountain is closed, but DRAGONMAN is open ….. seems like my closest option for a chronograph and some 100-200 yard shooting. Thanks for the input......

Take a bullet proof vest and be sure your will is updated. Horrible range.

Probably safer to be a stray dog in an ATF shoot house than set foot on the line at Dragonman's.
Lead Valley is still open... BUT you have to be a member or guest to use the rifle/pistol ranges. You have to attend orientation after you join before you can shoot. Orientations are the first Sunday of every month (this Sunday)...but I would call and talk to Glenn first if I were you.

Only go to dragonmans if you can get the instructor range. I would go to Magnum if you head down to COS, they have a great facility and its less of a drive for those coming from the North.

I went to Dragonmans with my kids to take the museum tour years ago. People rent guns in the shop and have to walk to the range from there to shoot them. 2 guys who had clearly never held guns before walked out of the store, one guy with a glock with a magazine inserted sweeping a family outside with his finger 3" into the trigger guard. The other guy carrying an AR at waist level, finger on trigger, sweeping everything he was facing, again with this family out front. They both had scared, excited looks on their faces like "holy shit I have no clue what to do with this thing, I can't believe they let me rent this!".
Almost as scary was that zero other people around noticed or cared.
The museum was a very cool but weird monument to one guy's ego. I can't imagine going back for anything though.

did Dragonman's today, I was on the near end for 100 yard rifle, far end had some pistol shooters in the 25 yard berm. I survived...…. but with only 5 people on the range, I lucked out.
I wouldn't do it if the range was crowded, but cheated death again.

After you have had guns pointed at you by the staff there, I guess you stop noticing. The attitude towards safety is clearly not high on their priority list.
Plus it?s such a regular occurrence there.
Sounds like someone should do a reality TV show out there. [Coffee]

Email went out today stating that CRC reopens tomorrow. I'll probably be heading out Sunday to test some reloads and get some rifles sighted in since this abundance of free time has convinced me to swap a bunch of scopes around.

I imagine CRC is going to be unusually busy this weekend. Curious how that'll go over.

At least there's talk of snow. Might keep the crowds down a bit.
Not a DM slam.
I have friends up north (Denver/Lakewood) looking for a range to shoot at/train in. Is Blue Core open? Bristle Cone?
Sorry, I don't shoot inside.
Bristlecone is open for business. Don't know about Blue Core.

Blucore is open to members with capacity limits as I last heard it. Not sure about walk ins but give them a call.
Boulder Rifle Club remains open.
Pueblo West Sportsman's shut down Friday 04/17. Per orders of the Pueblo City/County Health Department The same department that let Golf Courses open today...

I was wondering about that... Im curious. Hopefully everyone that was using the range is in good health.
Things are happening behind the scenes. Not a fun time to be a board member.

Any word on The South Site off of Hwy 67 near Deckers?
Don’t want to drive up there this week to see they chained it off.

Any learnings or thoughts to pass along in regards to dealing with the HealthPoPo? I’d like to know so that boards like CRC and AGC don’t go wobbly.

Took a drive up there this morning the place is a disgusting dump. I think we need to get out there and chip in for a dumpster and clean the place up.
Fuck Dragonbastard, I'm surprised he hasn't been murdered yet.

Any idea where his “museum” is located in Kanas and how he and family are doing. Believe he had a set of twins born shortly prior to leaving Colorado.
It was Nebraska. Not Kansas. If I remember correctly it was in Bellevue maybe?

Wasnt sure if that was him. Area code doesnt match the area, and the first name didnt match for me. I dont know anything about him though.
Anybody know about Baker Draw Shooting Area? Wife has the day off tomorrow and I'm between semesters so we're thinking about heading up there from around Thornton. If there's closer outdoor places available to the public I'm all ears.
