What makes you think you would be?

I would think that as long as you dont have the gun around toward the gas station clerk or bank teller, you should be fine.

How would anyone know?

Plus, I think a person could easily get away with the mask and open carry right now.

Can't speak for Colorado, but many are open carrying with masks on here in AZ.

Big signs at the local post office. I might CCW but I certainly wouldn't open carry or post that I had on a public forum? No snarky intended, just one of those places I've been that I made a mental note of to be careful about? Curious if you interpret different?

How could they prove beyond a reasonable doubt if they don't catch you red handed? All one would have say is that the said they did on forums to get a rise out of members or foster a discussion.

But back to my question. Is there a law against wearing a mask and carrying?

Post office law is total BS. I can't even store the firearm inside my vehicle?

I ve seen so many people ccwing (print bulge) inside the post office. This law should be repealed.

Not just the post office, any federal building. Which is why you can carry in National Parks, but you can't go into any National Park building while carrying.

I can hear it now: "I was charged with bringing a firearm into a port-a-potty."

I am not aware of a law that states you have to have your face completely visible when carrying a firearm.

^this. When i worked at the fed center I couldn't even store it in the truck safe, it sucked because it was my longest trip (lived in brighton) and I couldnt even carry anything.

Because in some states (Illinois for example) CCWing while wearing a mask is technically illegal. https://www.personaldefenseworld.com/2020/04/illinois-face-mask-concealed-carry/

Like I needed yet another excuse to avoid Illinois.

Many years ago in my first CCW class the instructor, a local police chief, advised that post offices are not off limits to concealed carry. I don't know what he would say now.

Concealed is concealed. Masked included. Consider your reasons for carrying and proceed as appropriate. Don't mess with others and there shouldn't be an issue. Self defense is an inalienable right. We are free men. Let hell reign upon those who would deny that.

I have yet to see a sign prohibiting firearms. Same for banks.. I had to look hard to see if there was. Nothing, visible. Then again, i'm fairly oblivious to much of anything at this age.

No one at the p.o. or bank has said anything to a person open carry , when i've been there. Rare as it is, in a place like that, you do see it out here. I'l let them know next time i see it.

I have a solution. Go to a contracted usps office.
Looking for one now.

Last time I went to the PO I didn't see the signage until I was in a very long line that was continually growing longer. I figured concealed meant "concealed" and minded my own business. I hope to not have to make that choice again for at least until my next visit (probably another year or so).

For current times I tossed this together for guidance for the OP.

Sorry for using the jackass in the top photo as an example but I did find some sort of irony in it.

There is no contracted usps facility near me.
Today, I need to go to sheriffs office. While at it, I will go drop off package at 80601 office. At least 80601 office has many parking lot on the street I can park.

People asked me why not have usps guy pick up those packages?
