BJ Baldwin Involved in Shooting

Back in April, desert racer BJ Baldwin, a two-time winner of the Baja 1000, was involved in a shooting.

Two-time Baja 1000 winner B.J. Baldwin and his girlfriend are cooperating with police after a deadly gun battle on April 22 in Baldwin’s home town of Las Vegas.

The incident took place at around 2:00 am in the parking lot of an In-N-Out Burger restaurant, when two men reportedly approached the couple while they were having dinner in their vehicle. A heated argument preceded a gunfight between the two parties, leaving one of the assailants dead at the scene.

A social media star with a huge online following, Baldwin drives the Baldwin Motorsports No.97 Monster Energy/Toyo Tire Toyota Trophy Truck in major desert events. He is also a well-known gun enthusiast and vocal advocate for America’s Second Amendment rights.

BJ has recently changed his defense ammo since the incident Due to the performance of what he was using before. . Follow him on Instagram for all kinds of updates and news. I’ve met him and his kids several times and have spent some good time with him. He’s a super nice guy and one heck of a defensive firearm practitioner. His girlfriend is Top Gun Tori, Tori Nonaka. Have met her too several times. She’s not as much of a conversational person as BJ.
Right after the incident Taran Butler delivered a brand new combat master G19 to BJ as his was taken by the police. Nice customer service!

Assailant fired 2x at the girlfriend and then 6x at Baldwin. Baldwin got 10/10 hits on the assailant, 9 in the chest and one in the "central nervous system", not clear if that's the spine or head or whatever. No confrontation, they approached displaying a gun, pointing at the girlfriend.

ETA: The Coroner has determined that he survived the shot to the CNS, Covid-19 was the needle that broke the camels back and finished him off.
