That seems like it will cause some problems.

No man, I'm sure the government knows what they are doing.
Suddenly regretting going for no rush USPS shipping vs $5 more for fedex on my suppressor adapter.
Already having a week delay on some priority package. This is 100x worse.
#coup d'?tat
At the beginning of this stuff I had packages "In Transit" for between 5 days and 8 days past delivery dates, thankfully they all eventually arrived but I was getting a bit nervous as one of those was a handgun.
It's the US mail. Fuck off, Denver!

And just as the CDC has come out and said you can't get COVID from packages

USPS should have ALL City of Denver 1st class,Priority, and Expressmail diverted to Parcel Select Ground to catch up on all other packages and mail. :D

Also showing up on other sources as of today, but I remember hearing this news from health organizations at least a month ago, and I've not been doing much surface concerns beyond the standard wash in, wash out hospital routine I remember from those days, but applied to my apartment or truck. Figured couldn't hurt, and I've been washing my hands after being done handling cardboard received, but I've not been quite as freaked out as a lot of my neighbors (who will leave boxes on their balcony for days before bringing inside or opening). I get masks, and I'll wear one in an enclosed space (like a store), but beyond that I'm not going too far out of the norm due to this (except not being able to use the trails due to all the goddamn new people on them, never have I had to stop in the middle of a climb or downhill run so often).
Yay. I ordered some stuff from two different places and the orders shipped out yesterday. Just checked and both shipments are going through USPS. Guess I won?t be seeing those packages for about a month.

They can keep all of my junk mail.

On May 14, DDPHE issued a closure order for the USPS location at 3800 Buchtel Blvd. The health department investigator found a "lack of implemented control measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within the facility.
USPS did not shut down that location.
Yeah, I don't think the USPS gives a flip about what DDPHE has to say.
They can keep all of my junk mail.
That and the bills.

How out-of-your-goddamn-mind do you have to be to think your city health department can shut down the United States Postal Service?
The whole situation is minting miniature Napoleons by the thimbleful.
I fixed it for you
Instead of diverting City of Denver Government mail, they diverted my package to Washington. [LOL]

Really hope my letter that went out today makes it to Chicago and doesn't get stuck in Denver. I'd be mighty pissed to miss the deadline to opt into COBRA insurance.
That and the bills.
I thought about having them pay them for me, but they'd screw that up.

Yet the C&C of denver did squat when the king soopers employee tested positive, did they.. Oh how the d run states and cities are rolling in their power grabs. Guess they gave up on impeachment, russia, stormy and who knows what else.
Taking Bill Mahr's Hope for a recession, as gospel.
I suggest everyone read the article.
DDPHE, "Shut it down."
USPS, "[ROFL1] Eat a bag of D's."

Who ever guessed that we'd all be rooting for the USPS? Corona is wild.

Well, considering the fact that it's usps vs City & County of denver... [pileoshit]
If those bureaucrats are so eager to pick a fight with the USPS, what are they doing to small business?
I heard they were back open this morning.
I heard they were back open this morning.
They never closed
My new arrow rest, supposed to be in today, is now "by Wednesday, hopefully". Sigh.
