Yep.
It happens before every presidential election that some incident happens which stirs up the natives to riot. The media eggs it on with limited information and half truths and here we are.
Who's pulling the puppet strings is something this nation needs to know and eliminate.

I spoke my mind on FaceBook about this 'Rona nonsense and was put in FB jail for 4 days. I also go to a site called NextDoor, where people can post items of "interest' about their neighborhood/subdivision. I got put in the corner there for posting about the 'Rona. Then after the killing by cop incident NextDoor blew up with posts about the incident. All of a sudden that subject just stopped and all notifications about it just up and disappeared. NextDoor is based out of San Francisco and the board includes people that are on the board for Wally World for example. And people poop n the streets.
There is most definitely foreign investment into it, but it's hard to say in what proportions. Russia is a guarantee, but are they stoking the fires 1% or 10%, no way to know. Other hostile nation's would seem to be likely just because it's the cheapest way they can damage US/western interests. Probably cheaper than even cyberattacks. Still, besides RU, other nations espionage apparatus may not be advanced enough to do it at all. (China possibly could, but... It seems unlikely)
And ofc you have a lot of domestic money too. Lots of aligned interest in upsetting or overthrowing the status quo at each and every opportunity.
And after they mandated facemasks so the criminals would blend in normal folks....

This whole thing looks to me like a repeat of the Soros-backed color revolutions in the Middle East a few years ago.

Probability of these protests being organized and funded by outside groups? 0.99999999
Let me guess where you grabbed that number.

Yeah I saw that. China executes a lot of criminals for this activity. They have vans that travel and execute the prisoners in them.

I see what you did there........
Minneapolis police advised earlier today that they were finding bottles with gasoline deployed in advance of the usual evening festivities.
And then there are the bricks reported in many other places. Some which appear to be located at legitimate construction sites (but arguably negligently left unattended) while others are suspicious...

Last night on livestreams, I forget if it was Philly or DC, there was a black guy in a #9 jersey (not sure which team) who was pushing back the looters & shit-stirrers from storefronts. Who knows if I would agree with any of his politics, but he was out there trying to stop some of the chaos [Beer]
The 5th column of the media are ignoring those who work to prevent looting, while covering up for those who enable it [Rant2]

Right thread, wrong thread... ehhh....
So, now on video that I just watched. The mysterious pallets of bricks appearing near protest sites were a mystery that is apparently solved now. I was really hoping it was the Antifa assholes doing it. Nope, it's the police department in a police pickup truck #1400, placing pallets of bricks near the protest sites, and making things so much worse.
I'm sorry, but based on the scores of videos I've seen while trying to understand all this going on, the police in the United States as a whole, has lost my support pretty much 100%. I was watching so many videos where my immediate reaction is, that police officer should at least be fired, if not put in jail, for the flat out criminal behavior they're showing. I have two cousins who are police officers, and I just hope they're not this bad.

I've seen the video he's talking about.
It's shot with a potato from a fairly long distance, and it might be cops, might be some other people in an "official" looking vehicle, and the version of the video I saw didn't last long enough to make it clear they were really unloading bricks.
I've also seen about a dozen other photos and videos of mysterious palettes of bricks and concrete pieces showing up with little or no attribution (though one did have a label from a supplier called Acme Brick.)
Even assuming that the one video shows actual cops unloading actual bricks, I find it a bit of a stretch to believe that this means that all of the mysterious bricks being delivered all over the US are being placed there by cops.
Found the video. Judge for yourself.

Everything you said about the video is true, but it looked a lot more like cops than I expected. However, I didn't see anything that looked like bricks. Could probably see a lot better in person, but as far as evidence of anything, that video sure isn't providing any.

Yes but would you feel better if I said 2/329731000 rounded up? You're dealing with activities in over a dozen cities around the country that have been organized and supplied rapidly. That's no mean trick -- just try to organize 20-50 families for something as simple and mundane as a joint picnic in 2 weeks' time -- much less hundreds and thousands of people gathering at a specific place and time with less than a week's notice. Smartphones help with information distribution and you can say someone just tossed a date/time out there and let it spread but SOMEONE generated and coordinate that information flow.
Oh, by the way, similar activities generated with similar themes and messages worldwide in less than a week? Yeah, it could all be random action, Brownian motion in societal action --- and monkeys could fly up my butt.
Everything you said about the video is true, but it looked a lot more like cops than I expected. However, I didn't see anything that looked like bricks. Could probably see a lot better in person, but as far as evidence of anything, that video sure isn't providing any.
That's my take.
Also, I don't know that I've ever seen a PD that uses pickup trucks. Sedans, cruisers, SUVs, and crossovers, sure, but not pickup trucks. I mean, it's not outside of the realm of possibility, but it strikes me as a bit weird.

I know of entire departments in trucks. Hell, Adams County has a white F150 that is damn near impossible to tell it is marked out here.

So dark truck with generic white numerals on roof and a couple guys in dark outfits with patches and equipment belts proves the police are delivering bricks, presumably so protestors can make a mess of the city and hurt their fellow officers in hopes of framing said protestors? Is that the story this video is supposed to be pushing? Hell, that's thinner than the bulls--t storylines in Disney's version of Star Wars. The cargo in the back doesn't even look like bricks -- not sure what it is.
In fact, that patch of alley looks remarkably clean. That could be video of a security truck and building security.
Fact of the matter is that activities with similar signs, shirts, and themes are being coordinated quickly at dozens of locations across the world. It could all be done independently and randomly but just how likely is that?

Yep. Takes a lot of imagination to conclude anything from that video.
If you're protesting, are you going to adopt signs/images from the other similar protests you see every time you turn on a screen, or are you going to waste the time coming up with all new ones?
I've posted it before, but it's way easier to claim a grand conspiracy rather than addressing legit problems with the police (or your movement, or your president). It's really concerning to me that the gun community, and to an extent the far right of the republican party, has now spent the last four years creating conspiracy theories to excuse or distract from real issues, or instead of acknowledging fuckups just resorting to nonsense about "owning the libs". It's not as bad as other places here (I can understand most of the theories here even if I think they're bullshit, but trying to read the AR15.com general discussion is like reading a twitter feed from an alternate universe) but it's heading that way and a big part of why I've put the gun hobby (especially the social aspect) waaaaay on the back burner

Ok, yeah, that doesn't really surprise me.
Is it wrong to ask why in 8 years of Clinton and 8 years of Obama that "racism inherent in the system" wasn't addressed?

I used to play competitive paintball like 20+ years ago, it was small and everyone knew everyone. Day before a tourney teams could walk fields. Team Tippmann was showing everyone a polaroid of one of them holding up a bigass snake while standing in a woods bunker as half the fields had woods. Well, in the prelims no one played any of the woods bunkers. Team Tippmann did, and destroyed fools.
The snake was a dime store snake, totally fake.
