In case anyone cares, it’s basically this: https://www.quietbore.com/product/22lr-solvent-trap/
Only difference is I did it a la carte and got 1 titanium baffle for nearest the barrel muzzle and the rest are aluminum. Basically added $10 to the cost over an all aluminum.
That's pretty dang quiet.

sounds good, is it easy to pull apart for cleaning?
Yep. Just unscrew both ends.
And what sort of timeframe did the form 1 take?
Was that one of the oil catch can "builds?"

Yes, it’s a solvent trap until tax stamp approved. Then drill baffles and end cap.
And what sort of timeframe did the form 1 take?
36 days. Trust.
where are you buying these solvent traps?
Some sites look so sketchy and ATF traps.
From quietbore.com. No sketch. Has to be drilled etc. Anyone trying to use one as a can without heavy modification would blow their rifle up. Those modifications are legally permissible only after receipt of the approved tax stamp. Until receiving the stamp, it stays in its definitely a solvent trap configuration.
I looked at various sources and yes, some sites are... sketchy. QB and a few others aren’t. Ultimately I decided on QB for their quality, reviews and videos I found of other form 1 builds on arfcom, YouTube, and reddit.

Damn I have a few and with turn around times like that I might have to start the paperwork.
These have got to be sketchy or traps:

I was legit looking for a fuel filter for the xterra and these were the top 3 results.
