There are currently 299 users online (https://www.ar-15.co/online.php). 84 members and 215 guests

I can no longer access the site without logging in. Where are the guests coming from?

Due to recent issues the membership had with staff, a non-member review board was created to sit-in on the site and oversee general site activities and mod performance. Those guests are a kind of non-member moderator, if you will.

Even though it pops up a message when you visit the site, visiting still launches a session and you get a cookie, so it counts it as a guest for (some span of time, 30 minutes? 2 hours?).

VB active users is not accurate, in any sense. At any rate, as long as we give people cookies they'll never stop coming up to the door.
