I got a coupon for trugreen mosquito defense. I have never had a "general" spray done around the house to lower the number of bugs but have had several people tell me it's worth it.
Anyone else think so? If so is Tru Green good or should I go with someone else?
Thanks
How much are they asking for it? How often do they recommend it?

If your property isn't very large it is not worth it unless your neighbors also spray.
Totally not worth it unless they are spraying the whole area.
Tiki torches and a monthly BBQ party would be a way better use of your money.

39.99. I'm not sure how often the company recommends it, but I have heard from others that it needs to be a monthly thing.

I live in an average size lot in a neighborhood. Thanks for the insight.

When we spray out here for skeeters we partner with neighbor and have aerial applicator spray approx 50 acre area. We also keep weeds/grasses trimmed to 6" within 150' of dwellings/structures.
So far this year almost no mosquitos for us. Dry spring and cooler temps when we do get moisture has kept them in check.
Size of average lots in metro you would need every neighbor around you to spray at same time or you would need spray twice a week for couple weeks your yard depending on conditions.
I subscribed to Tru Green's fertilizer service - until I watched their slack-jawed fuckstick spray my yard. I immediately canceled their "service" and have told them to f/o every time they've called to beg me back. Useless cunts.

Lee County, Florida, has an entire fleet of airplanes spraying.
After Hurricane Charlie damaged most of the airplanes, it was just a few days and the mosquito's ruled again.
Now it's the chiggers and no-see-ums everywhere.
Not to mention all of the shhhtuff holding water after Charlie to make breeding grounds for the little suckers.

50 Acres?! I wish...maybe if some things fall into place I'll have to worry about a lot that size.

Cheaper if you buy in bulk. Your yard would probably use half a container once a month. Its equivalent to what they'd apply

Find a propane trap you like and fire that thing up often. Spend the rest of your budget on propane. This will get ones from the neighborhood that dont spray

I have used the cutter before and it seemed to work okay, I'll just do that again.
I have never seen the propane thing and I am definitely intrigued
