I'm trying to figure out the differences between the 1100 and the old 1050 (not Super 1050)...

I have an old 1050. Looking at the 1100, it appears that the handle linkage for the 1100 has gone back to the old 1050 design.

I assume this is why it has a shorter stroke, so it can't do 30-06 for example.

What else is different? Or is the 1100 really just the old 1050 reincarnated?

Maybe some subtle tweaks elsewhere?

It’s just a CNC machined RL-1050. Some other small improvements is all.

I paid less than a grand for my first 1050 in the late 90s.

I think mine was $1200. Loaded a bazillion 38 Supers on it.

I though it looked a lot like the old 1050...
