Just asking but did she just purchase this used? Any particulars? (key left in it?) I have seen a case where a person traded in a car and kept a key, only to steal it after it was sold and strip it for parts.

We had a tramp break into our office building, he took her keys off her desk and drove right off. Luckily she got it back late last night as there was a low jack in it.

Luckily? I dunno ... it's got tramp smell in it now (and God knows what bodily fluids).

Years ago a friend of mine had his car stolen by a homeless guy ... they found it a week later and it was horrible (guy hid it in some bushes and lived in it like an animal for a week during the heat of the Kansas summer). Even after thorough detailing the smell never quite went away. He would have been better off never seeing it again and just getting the insurance payout.

A buddy had a Nova that he couldn't get the smell of bum piss out of. He left it unlocked one night and found a bum sleeping in his own filth in the back seat the next morning. Filthy animals.

Glad to hear she got it back.

We used to have a friend that got a speed shop to write a fake receipt for a $6,000 race engine that he never had. Then he took a bunch of friends to the movies, while another friend "stole" his car from the parking lot. He claimed it stolen on insurance and parted it out. Now he's a local real estate agent and a member here.

Our company is nice enough to pay to have the car cleaned and detailed at the dealer.

This usually works. It is what the morgues and funeral homes use.
