So I finally got around to finishing my build...well the upper is supposed to be here on Monday! I purchased a lower from a member quite awhile back. The lower is complete minus the buffer and spring. I have a buffer tube only. What are you guys running? I do have a 5.8oz HB and I used a carbine spring that I had laying around. What are your preferences?

Thanks,
Art

I use a 6 oz carbine buffer with a rifle length recoil spring. What you're going to need to do is. Once you have the buffer and spring installed, is charge the bolt carrier. Observe how far back if at all it travels. You may need to add a buffer spring spacer behind the buffer, inside the recoil spring. Once i remember the measurements i'll edit the post. .

As for the upper. They don't come with feed ramps and not all bullet profiles will cycle, or feed. You should order this unit, just in case. It can be installed in the upper using a good flat file.

Have you got a chance to shoot it Art? If you did shoot it did you have any failure to eject with the psa bcg.

I did not have any failure to ejects. I only ran a magazine thru it. Hopefully I can get out in the next week or so and give it another run.
