This was a damn shame that is continuing to show the agenda of the left. Not hearing much about it at all. Also hit a scooter rider in a hit and run that broke the rider's leg. 2nd officer that survived was grazed in the head. Suspect is a BLM protestor who says he shot in "self defense" to keep the police from taking his car, gun, and weed.

Cell phone video obtained by investigators showed that Washington exited his car and was standing in the street before approaching the oncoming police cruiser. The suspect walked to the driver's side of the cruiser and opened fire while apparently yelling, “come on pig, come on pig,” the witness told police. Shoop's partner returned fire, according to the report, but Washington fled on foot from the scene.

RIP Officer Shoop.

RIP. Commendable restraint by his fellow officers to have "apprehended" the suspect, instead of resolving it the Dallas, TX way which I might be more inclined.

Bothell Police Department Police officer Jonathan Shoop was killed last week during an exchange of gunfire with a suspect earlier this week in Bothell, Washington.

Officer Jonathan Shoop, 32, was struck by a bullet fired from the gun of fellow Officer Mustafa Kumcur, according to a news release issued by the Snohomish County Multiple Agency Response Team.

The officers were responding to gunfire from the man they had attempted to pull over for not having a license plate, 37-year-old Henry Eugene Washington, according to investigators.

Washington is charged with first-degree aggravated murder, first-degree attempted murder and vehicular assault, according to charging documents filed Friday by the King County Prosecuting Attorney's office.

"The fact that Mr. Washington did not fire the fatal shot is immaterial to his culpability in this crime. But for Mr. Washington's directed attack on the officers, Officer Shoop would be alive today," the charging documents say.
