I have a Velocity Trigger drop in trigger in my custom AR. Today at the range it started "running amuck"... I mean allowing 2-6 round burst! I have since pulled the trigger from my rifle... any one else have any similar issues with velocity triggers?

I had 1 do the same. There is a set dcrew in the middle s little adjustment will fix it. If not call tom and he will make it right.

That is good news! I sent Velocity an email but havent got a response yet.
I have over 5000rds on this trigger. How many rounds on yours before this happened?
Different trigger, Rise 140 drop in. It stops to reset after it gets any dirt in it.to bad because it has a nice break.
Anything with a adjustment screw will have a screw loose.

I had 1 out of 4 Elftmann triggers do the same thing.
A set screw had worked loose.
I removed the set screw and reinstalled it using blue loctite and it's been fine since then

Finally got a call back from Velocity... They want me to mail my trigger back and will either fix or replace it... They were super cool about it. Asked some basic questions, and immediately decided they want it in house to examine. I will be sending it out tomorrow or monday...
They said they expected service life is 40,000+ rounds...

I just got a new trigger in the mail from Velocity...Unfortunately the did not provide any info as to what went wrong with the trigger I originally purchased. I will call them tomorrow or Monday and see if I cant get any more specific info...

Not sure how the conversation about, "Here's what you need to do to make your rifle fully automatic." would go. [hahhah-no]

Talked to Jarod today at Velocity Triggers. He said the reason for sending me the new trigger is because I had on of the triggers from their original first run. They have since changed some design and manufacturing processes and it was just easier for them to replace my trigger than repair it. The ultimate problem was pre-mature disconnect spring failure.
New trigger installed. seems to function perfectly. Hopefully getting some range time tomorrow!

Just got back from shooting. I am glad to report that my replacement trigger works flawlessly. I believe it is even better than the one I purchased 4-5 years ago. No noticeable creep and a crisp glass like break. I dont have a trigger pull gage to say if it is truly 3lbs, but it is light and consistent
